Wroclaw’s Town Hall is one of the best preserved medieval town halls in Europe. It is also one of the most important monuments of the city. The two-storey, late-Gothic structure did not originally have the form it does now.

The historic building of the Wroclaw Opera House (formerly the Municipal Theatre) in today’s Świdnicka Street dates back to 1841. The building, designed by Carl Ferdinand Langhans maintains a classical style.
